Hello,Mr Manuel

I have built dmx dongle using Atmel AT89s52 with input coming from LPT1 and send DMX512 in 256 ch. Then I checked with Manolator and Freestyle also. Everything are ruuning well and successfully. Thanks for this information.

But, today it is very difficult anymore to find laptop with LPT port, so I built also USB to DMX dongle using FTDI232, but the Freestyle did not know my dongle? Could you share me how to fix this problems?

Thanks.

Re: AT89s52 DMX dongle.
Hello:

I think freestyler uses the non threaded version of hip visual basic opendmx "driver"

it must to be a link in the Enttec site to hip's site.

I use my own driver for the manolator new version and for Masterpeace that is coded in Purebasic and I believe is better, it is also in the enttec site as a dll with a little example code in VisualBasic.

The system used by FreeStyler is not the emulation of the Commport driver but the native FTDI dll.

Think about make a web site with your project to share it, please.

cheers
